Today was a good good and fulfilling day (:
Haha I never felt so good about spending my time in a relaxing-yet-fulfilling way in a very long timeeee.

Fulfilling is most of the time, doing work. And it's neither fun, nor relaxing.

Haha but anyway,
I went shooting today with Renting and my friend's cousin - Raphael.
Haha he's the pro photographer that I talked about in some previous posts uh.

But not say those super pro until he makes a living out of it kind, more of freelance and stuff.

So, we went to esplanade, clarke quay, CBD area to shoot.
The weather wasn't the best of weathers..
The location wasn't the best either..
Idk, I feel that alot of people have pictures taken there.
So whatever you take, people already taken before.

And being noobs, we won't be able to take uhm.. interesting photos..?
Along that line la.

But I guess we still managed to learn quite a lot :D
At least now I know how to use the functions in my camera and not just waste my money by using the auto mode. Haha.

But I've still got a lot a lot a lot to learn uh.

Okay cos we were like shooting tgt, all three of us.
So we have our own camera, own pictures.. Right?

Haha so just now, I was editing my batch and he sent me those he took, with me and Renting in it.

So it's like, after I edit one, then click next, then edit, then next etc etc.

And the thing is that, when it came to the pictures that he sent, it was super distinct that it wasn't a picture from my set.

Normally you go, next next next next next,
But this is like, next next next next, then suddenly, PAUSE.

Hahaha cos it was a picture he took, and it's suddenly like,
Wow, this is what you call a REAL photograph!

Ahh but it's his lens also.
He bought other lenses so the quality and everything is different!

Mine is the noob kit.
Haha the one that comes with it when you buy the camera.

So it can't really do those kinda photos where you have a clear subject with a super blur background.

Can la, but only when I zoom super close..?
So like, maybe I can take people's... limbs? Hahah with the bg blur.
I only can take when the background is something far.

So ah ya, nvm, stick with mine for now.
AND ANYWAY, Nikon doesn't HAVE those kinda lens..

Cos his camera is canon..

So I gotta wait for it to be made.. ):
And man, I kinda regretted buying the D40x.

People are like "Damn X" on the forum.
They were comparing D40x with D40, and I also just found out that D40x has stopped its production, because of smth bad luh. Like price to high, not much functions etc.

It has no motor!!! ):

Idk what that is for, but I know it has to do with the kinda lens I buy.. So....
Hahah you know when you're just a noob, you'll want all the functions in the world so that you won't be left out.
Yeah.

No la, but I know the motor is quite important.
Things like megapixels aren't that impt.

OKAY, I feel like I'm talking to myself haha.

Lol I think my english is quite bad..
I had a hard time understanding when I skimmed through.
