Hohoho Im back from OBS!

It was soo goood yeah.
And I even missed it when i came back.

Learnt so many things from those 5 days, much more than just stuff for survival and those outdoor stuff.
But really those kinda stuff that you can apply to your everyday life

Felt good.
eh.. not literally la.

Hahaha. First day there, we were like moody, sad, irritable, down and just negative.
Plus I think we were all kinda sad that we got our this instructor..
Well.. Cos she was not those fun fun laugh laugh kind. It isnt easy to crack her up.

Then we look at the other groups.. Walao all the instructor like so fun one. Hahaha.

Heh okay so im quite lazy to continue already...

We went on with our activities for the first day. Damn shag.
And the next day we were supposed to hike to camp 1.

We did rock climbing, belaying etc there. It was quite cool eh, I wanna say smth!!
(I managed to climb up and get down within 5mins :D :D :D )

Okay then after that, nothing much already.
Lights out at 11, woke up at 4am for our kayak expedition mannnn!!

And guesss whatttt..

I was sorta appointed/saboed/chosen (tgt with ann) to be the expedition leaders :/
Meaning, we had to lead the people around almost the whole of pulau ubin by ourselves.
(Instructors said they were not helping) With the help of a map..

Yeah. And just nice I was the navigation leader.
Damn stress can. Hahah. The night before I was super uptight, I guess?
And next morning as well..

Plus plus, I wanted to shit everything out because the place that we're gonna kayak to has no toilet so if we had to do our business there we had to go into the water to do it.

And no way am I going to pull down my pants in the water and let go...
Its just sick ya. Haha but there were people who did..

Feel sorry for them, and us as well. We washed our mass tins + utensils in the water!!!

So anyway, breakfast was .... not very nice.
It tasted pretty much like: sausage, oil + yellow noodle.

Haha yesss.. And it was supposed to last us for what, 17 km?
Okay not entirely, coz we packed some food into the tiny pockets of our lifejackets..

And the best thing is that, I fell asleep while eating breakfast, woke up and continued eating again. :D

Then after that I went to the toilet and summoning all my POWER, tried to pass all waste out yknow..?

Eh you know I had a full rectum(?) for like 1-2 days...........

And I was in the toilet till i perspired like mad. lol.
Okay enough of info yeah.

And after that I realised they were already leaving for the expedition.
Then I rushed out ran here ran there to grab all my stuff.
So flustered when I finally reached.

OH and we got stranded on this beach for like 2h before we finally reached main land.
The beach was superrrrr eeew, it had like sand flies jumping in and out of the sand and stuff.
And we SAT on it ):

Okay la wasnt all that bad.. Most of us fell asleep. HAHA.

So we reached mainland after a while, pitched our tents and started cooking.
After a while, a few HCI guys came along and pitched their tents right beside our campsite. Okay not a few, maybe 2-4 watches?

They were damn gay I tell you. Heh.
Not generalizing, but they took super long to pitch tent, super long to cook, super long to sleep D:

Natalie saw one of them wearing blue berms with bright yellow flowers on it.
(: <- Sweet and Innocent smile. And their china accent was OVERWHELMING. yup. "nimer zhair gamarrr? Who can figure out what im trying to type. lol.(its in china) Okay nevermind.. Hahaha ohoh and Tenzing (our buddy watch) went like "Hwachong shuttup!" at night, cos it was like china night market outside our tents if we actually close our eyes and imagine. Okay so the next dayyyyyy!!! Went to make raft. Trekked a little to the Quarry.

Its sooooo pretty and peaceful and everything mannz!!

We went into the water and swam around abit.
And we tried doing somersault in the water, our instructor showed us.

Lol try guessing the result..

Most of us paused a lil, butts on the surface before we turned down sideways.
Awful sight. Hahaha.

Then after that, we changed in the open to dry clothes for trekking..
Totally brought down our market value so much.. Modesty privacy non existent.

Aiyuh but I doubt anyone saw anything so yea hahhahahhahaahhahahah.

Okay so we trekkeddddd and there were like MOSQUITOES EVERYWHERE.
It was freaky.

They seemed to be attracted to black and Trishta was wearing totally black.
So there were like already 4 or more mosquitoes flying like houseflies around her neck area....

Sick okay.

In the end, we reached camp 2 after a while :D
We were so relievedddd.

And yeah, we had our "grad night" that night.
Where we shared many many stuffs, opened up and stuff.

Hahaha we were like interrogating Jackie about her history.
Natalie was like:" How many exes you have?"
Jackie:" Real one or bluff one?"

Haha Natalie:"huh got real one or bluff one meh, anyone la."

Then jackie told us she was tgt with this sji one.. for one week. HAHA.

She said Acjc was a playful jc. Consisting of playful people, playboys yeah.
eh but we do not know, times changed.

And Sji may seem like very bad and stuff, but they have CHARACTER.
(omgoodness.. I was trying to think of what kind of character ive seen so far.. none seem to come to mind HAHA)

but i shall not generalize again ya.

and so dinner was great :D
after dinner, we all planned to pour water on her cos we saw tenzing pour water on their instructor.

I tell you, they all plan ready one k!
All wear wet attire...

Tenzing instructor was like in some water proof raincoat and jackie was in her water shorts. hahahha.

so after her instructions on how to clean up and stuff, we ran to her and emptied out our bottles on her.

hahah i heard she threw all her stuff to one side and sat on the floor.
then we just poured and poured. lol.

aiyuh im super lazy to blog. hahahah.
OKAY SO WE BATHED WASHED UP PACKED WENT TO BED IN OUR TENT.

tried to stay up but failed.

And yeahhhhh, all the night talks and stuff were damn good.
I liked it man. Many nice quotes.

"expect the unexpected"
"work now, play later. play now, pay later."

and it taught me,

when you persevere even though you dont know the results, you will feel satisfied and have a good return.

if you never try, you will never know & grow.

grab opportunities when it comes at you, dont live with regrets.

do whats important over whats comfortable.

step out of your comfort zone in order to grow.

sharing openly increases the bond between everyone.

there will be bad times, but its what you choose to feel, do you choose to dwell on the badness of it, or do you choose to be positive and do what you can to make things better? what you feel will result in how you're gonna face it.

yup, most of it luh.
obs was very enriching to me.. not that i love the dirt and stuff.
but its only when i do all those things, then i truly know how things go about.
all those sentences are just sentences, principles which people can learn from or apply.

but its until you truly experience it, then you will know fully what it means.
i wouldnt have understood all these so well if not for obs, forcing us to get dirty, to get out of our comfort zone etc.

and yea man! it was really great :D
i felt like quite a changed person after all that.
and i know how all these is gonna help me in my walk of life (:
